Big things are happening for Yimba Uganda
in 2015. 2015 is the year that Yimba Uganda has launched our incredible new
Female Sanitation Program, kicking it off with our first pack distribution/
hygiene workshop which was ran in Wairaka, Jinja.
The day was a huge success and we cannot
wait to grow this program further. As
most of you would already know, we have been fundraising for sewing machines to
launch our tailoring course, in which local Ugandan women will be trained and
employed to create these packs for young women throughout the country.
We are excited to announce that we have officially
rented a house in Kampala, where the Yimba office will be located, and where
the tailoring course will be ran from. It is a beautiful space and we cannot
wait to see all the incredible things that will come out of it.
